Coutinho unveiled as Barcelona player – but injury will delay debut

Philippe Coutinho’s £142m move from Liverpool to Barcelona was officially confirmed on Monday as the playmaker was unveiled to fans at the Nou Camp. The Brazilian, 25, signed a five-and-a-half-year contract alongside president Josep Maria Bartomeu, before performing keepy-uppies in front of supporters. Minimum alcohol price law unveiled in Wales

A law to set a minimum price for selling alcohol in Wales has been unveiled. Ministers believe tackling excessive drinking could save a life a week and mean 1,400 fewer hospital admissions a year. Pricing is seen as a “missing link” in public health efforts, alongside better awareness and treatment. Line-up unveiled for BBC's new pop show

Royal Mail's new electric vans unveiled

Royal Mail is beginning trials in London of nine fully electric vans with ranges of up to 100 miles. The vehicles, which come in various sizes, will distribute post from the central London depot. They were produced by Oxfordshire-based carmaker Arrival, which recently opened a new factory in Banbury. Another batch of 100 electric vans for Royal Mail has also been ordered from Peugeot. £3.4m Pencoed radiology and imaging academy plan unveiled

A new academy to train radiologists and imaging professionals is to be created in Wales with £3.4m of Welsh Government funding. The new National Imaging Academy for Wales will be based in Pencoed, Bridgend, and is due to be up and running by mid-2018. Health Secretary Vaughan Gething will announce the plan on Friday.
