Nottingham train station evacuated after fire

Ten fire crews are at the city centre station after the fire broke out at about 06:30 GMT. Flames have been seen and smoke has filled the station’s foyer. London Euston rail station hosts homeless for Christmas

London’s Euston Station will host a full Christmas lunch for 200 homeless people later, as public spaces UK-wide open their doors to those in need. Volunteers worked overnight after the last train left on Christmas Eve – transforming the station concourse with decorations and tables. Marseille: Fatal knife attack at train station

Two people have been killed in a knife attack at Marseille’s Saint Charles train station. The assailant has been shot dead by security forces in the southern French city.
