News: Cyprus Tourism Organisation reports strong visitor figures for September

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation’s September 2017 visitor figures continue to show strong growth to the destination. From January to September 2017, global tourist arrivals to Cyprus reached 3,001,603, compared to 2,617,218 in 2016; a year-on-year increase of 14.7 per cent. UK arrivals during this period reached 1,039,783; an 8.9 per cent increase compared to the 954,673 UK arrivals from January to September in 2016.  During September 2017, Cyprus welcomed 483,716 global visitors; a 14.8 per cent increase on September 2016, which saw 421,201 global tourists visiting Cyprus.
