Air Malta has sought to underline its growth strategy with the introduction of flights from Catania to Vienna. The carrier will be introducing a new service following the bankruptcy and immediate withdrawal of Niki from this popular market. News: Emirates to launch London Stansted route in June 2018

Emirates today announced that it is to launch a new daily route from London Stansted to Dubai (DXB) on June 8th next year. With its strategic position close to the tech and pharma hubs of Cambridge and Peterborough, Emirates will be the first Middle Eastern airline to operate out of the popular north-east London airport. Tour will be massive challenge – Froome on 2018 route

Chris Froome says he faces a “massive challenge” to win his fifth Tour de France, as the route for the 2018 race was announced on Tuesday. The 105th edition will run from 7 to 29 July and be the shortest route of the 21st century, covering 3,329km. Even in the darkness of the Louisiana night, Jeanine Michna-Bales could still make out the eight former slave quarters on the Magnolia Plantation. They stood in rows, first erected by the family of Jean Baptiste LeComte I, who acquired the property in 1753.  A National Parks ranger had escorted the photographer onto the property earlier that night, but he’d since left her alone with her camera.
