News: Norwegian sees strong increase in passenger numbers for November

Norwegian carried 2.5 million passengers in November, an increase of 11 per cent compared to the same month last year. Norwegian’s long-haul routes had a 52 per cent passenger growth. The overall load factor was 83.7 per cent. A total of 2,520,220 passengers chose to fly with Norwegian in November. This is 255,075 (11 per cent) more passengers than the same period last year. Apprenticeship numbers fall by 59% after levy imposed

There has been a big fall in the number of workers starting apprenticeships since the introduction of the government’s apprenticeship levy earlier this year. The levy was supposed to increase the number of people training at work. Professional Footballers’ Association chief executive Gordon Taylor says he does not know how many of its 50,000 members have dementia. News: Dubai International celebrates strong passenger numbers for August

Dubai International registered another month of record traffic, with 8.2 million passengers welcomed in August, according to the monthly traffic report issued today by operator Dubai Airports. Boosted by the seasonal rush of travellers, particularly UAE residents returning for the start of the academic year, passenger traffic at DXB reached 8,233,311 in August compared to 7,727,105 recorded in the same month last year, an increase of 6.6 per cent.
