News: Abu Dhabi sees strong rise in visitor numbers for July

Abu Dhabi achieved a four per cent increase in hotel guests last month, compared to July 2016, with almost 400,000 guests visiting the city. The figure pushes the cumulative total for the first seven months of the year to over 2.6 million, maintaining a growth of seven per cent on the year, according to figures released by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority. Naby Keita: Liverpool agree club record deal for Leipzig midfielder for July 2018

Liverpool have agreed a club record deal to sign RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita, with the midfielder moving to Anfield in July 2018. The Reds have agreed to pay the £48m release clause that will allow the 22-year-old to move next summer, plus an undisclosed premium. News: Heathrow Airport records best ever month in July

Heathrow Airport in London recorded its best-ever single month in July, as the summer getaway sent passenger numbers soaring to record highs. Breaking all previous monthly records, Heathrow welcomed 7.53 million passengers last month, up 1.2 per cent on last July. The meant the airport averaged 243,000 passengers – or the equivalent of the population of Plymouth – every day. News: Norwegian reaches new passenger milestone in July

Norwegian marked another milestone in July, as the company carried more than 3.3 million passengers in a single month. The total number of passengers increased by 15 per cent compared to the same month last year, while the load factor at the airline was 94 per cent.Norwegian carried 3,358,565 passengers in July.
