Injured Murray pulls out of Brisbane International

Andy Murray has withdrawn from the Brisbane International because of issues with his long-term hip injury. The 30-year-old has dropped to 16th in the world rankings, having not played since July. Murray had been given a bye to the last 16 in Brisbane and was due to play American Ryan Harrison on Thursday, but said his right hip is still not ready for match conditions. M40 crash: Six injured and motorway shut

Six people have been injured and part of the M40 in Oxfordshire had to be shut for several hours after a crash involving five vehicles. One vehicle is thought to have overturned in the crash, which happened between junctions 10 and 11, near Banbury, at 23:40 GMT on Saturday. Four people were taken to hospital.
