Mauricio Pellegrino claims Southampton were priced out of transfer deals

Mauricio Pellegrino feels Southampton failed to substantially strengthen their squad during the transfer window because they were priced out of deals. Taxpayers owe private firms £199bn for PFI deals

Taxpayers still owe private contractors £199bn for deals signed under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI), a spending watchdog says.
