Johanna Konta and Heather Watson led Great Britain a step closer to the Fed Cup World Group II play-offs with victory over Estonia in a round-robin tie in Tallinn. Mkhitaryan agrees Arsenal switch as Sanchez swap moves closer

Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has agreed to join Arsenal, with Alexis Sanchez going in the opposite direction in a straight swap. Armenia international Mkhitaryan, 28, will have a medical on Sunday and Monday after the paperwork for his transfer was completed on Saturday. World moves closer to eradicating Guinea worm disease

A new report says the world is moving closer to eradicating Guinea worm disease, in which a meter-long worm slowly emerges from a blister in a person’s skin. The U.S.-based Carter Center, which leads the eradication campaign, says just 30 cases were reported last year in isolated areas of Ethiopia and Chad. All 15 cases in Ethiopia occurred at a farm where workers drank unfiltered water from a contaminated pond.
