Russians could still boycott Winter Olympics

A final decision on whether Russian athletes will compete under a neutral flag at the 2018 Winter Olympics will be made next week. The International Olympic Committee says Russian sports federations and athletes will meet on 12 December. The Russian Olympic Committee was banned from the Pyeongchang Games by the IOC on Tuesday for doping offences. Boycott apologises for 'unacceptable' comment about West Indian cricketers

Former England cricketer and BBC commentator Geoffrey Boycott has apologised for an “unacceptable” comment about West Indian cricketers. Boycott is reported to have said it would be more likely he would be knighted if he was to ‘black his face’. It is also claimed he said some knighthoods were handed out like “confetti” to West Indies greats.
