Vietjet has announced its interline partnership with Doha-based Qatar Airways, an agreement which will allow Qatar Airways’ passengers to travel to and from points in Vietnam and in Taiwan served directly by Vietjet. The first phase came into effect this September with Qatar Airways commencing two non-stop flight operations connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Doha with frequencies of double daily flights and ten weekly flights, respectively. Jet Airways is to increase passenger and cargo capacity between India and the United Kingdom by almost 33 per cent this winter with a third daily flight from London Heathrow to Mumbai, a first by any Indian airline. Qatar Airways will begin operating daily direct flights from Cardiff Airport, with the inaugural flight due to depart on May 1st, 2018. Oman Air has implemented a codeshare agreement with Kenya Airways covering services between Muscat and Nairobi. It is the latest in a line of codeshare deals from Oman Air, which has also recently linked up with Gulf Air, Royal Jordanian and Malaysia Airlines.
