Sunderland boss Simon Grayson takes charge of his first game for the Black Cats on Friday night when they take on Derby County in the EFL Championship.
The hosts will be hoping to get off to a perfect start as they prepare for life in English football’s second-tier, following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
The talkSPORT network will be the only place to hear 110 regular season EFL matches as well as the play-off semi-finals and finals.
Paddy McNair and Duncan Watmore are both absent due to knee injuries, while 18-year-old Josh Maja and Bryan Oviedo also miss out for Sunderland.
Derby meanwhile, will be without Darren Bent because of a long-term hamstring injury, and is joined on the sidelines by George Thorne, Jason Shackell and Max Lowe.
